Cooking with Tim

A sailing buddy is bringing his newly acquired cruising sailboat down from Northern Michigan to Lake Erie soon, and he asked me about preparing for the 4-6 day voyage. We chatted about watch schedules, mechanical and electrical contingencies, and some emergency stuff, but the most serious issue was what to feed the crew. The following video was made in 2016 during the Newport-Bermuda Race. As skipper, cooking was not normally part of my list of tasks, but on this race, it devolved to me because our boat owner and cook was busy with life-saving stuff in a war zone.

All the talk of voyaging made me a little nostalgic for ocean racing, but these images kinda nipped that in the bud.
