Raised and currently residing in Columbus, Ohio, I earned Bachelor Degrees studying Communications and History at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. A few years later, I married a career Naval Officer and began pursuing my career in aviation while leading the complicated and sometimes comical life of a military spouse and father.  Life, work and the U.S. Navy took me all across North America, Europe, and Asia, where there was no shortage of unique experiences to add to my collection of colorful tales. Today, when I’m not writing, I’m probably doing something related to racing sailboats.

Writing

I retired my last blog in 2019, and it’s good to be back in the groove. My first novel was released December 14, 2021. Regard for the Dead is available from Amazon, Books-a-million, and Barnes and Noble.

Sailing

I started crewing for Dad at age nine and I’ve been going down to the races ever since. Sailing is an adventure that can encompass the world. Every kid should be so lucky!

Flying

It runs in the family. Three generations of flying or fixing everything from fabric covered tail-draggers to modern jet airliners.
